The vineyard tasting with Cantine De Angelis is an opportunity to explore unspoiled nature and discover the history and food and wine culture of the local area.
It begins with a walk through the organic vegetable garden, among the scents of lemon and orange groves, ancient olive trees, and vineyards where Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes grow, giving life to the “Penisola Sorrentina DOP Sorrento” wine. Accompanied by stories, legends, and tales revealing the secrets of Sorrento’s winemaking tradition, the route offers a journey through the historical and natural richness of the territory: from the fascinating Roman cisterns dating back to the 1st century AD, to monumental olive trees, and the spontaneous vegetation that serves as a biodiversity sanctuary.
The walk ends in the shade of a charming Sorrentine pergola, where a selection of six wines is served together with a zero-kilometer buffet curated by the chef of Pane & Olio, the restaurant of Relais Regina Giovanna.
The experience is open both to external guests and to hotel guests.
