A bright flat with an entrance hall opening onto a large living room furnished with a kitchen, dining table and sofa bed. At the far end is the large bedroom with a terrace with a spectacular view: like the prow of a ship, it juts outwards and affords a 180° view over the vast expanse of greenery and the sea, from Sorrento to Capri. Another terrace for exclusive use is located on the other side of the flat and opens onto the vegetable garden. The bathroom is large and comfortable, complete with bath and shower, for moments of well-being after a day in the open air.
The islet of Punta Pennata is what remains of the tongue of land that protected the ancient Roman port of Miseno: it became an island in 1966, detached from the mainland following a series of seismic phenomena. Here, in the port of Miseno, the Classis Misenensis was stationed, the Roman imperial fleet established by Augustus, the most important in the Empire, because it had the task of guarding the islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
